Who are we?
Welcome All ~
- “Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” (Romans 15:7)
- We believe all people are God’s beloved children and welcome all who desire a relationship with Jesus, offering full inclusion in our faith community, as we celebrate our differences and our unity in Christ.
- “Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” (1 John 4:7)
- We pray for faithfulness to model Christ’s message of love, through acts of reconciliation, forgiveness, justice, peace, and sowing seeds of our Lord’s agape love
- “For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O LORD, from my youth.” (Psalm 71:5)
- COTC is committed to be a spiritual home for all, praying for one another, offering the hope of our Lord, and caring for them in times of joy and sadness.
- Living on the foundation of God’s love and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we act with hope and confidence, trusting God continues to lead Church of the Cross into servanthood, increasing our joy in God’s presence, learning from, responding to, and living in the way of Jesus Christ.
- “these [words] are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name.” (John 20:31)
- Anything we can do, we are able to do only through our Lord Jesus Christ, who has gifted us with the power of the Holy Spirit.
